You’re Invited:: Upcoming Book Signings

As you all know, earlier this year I released my second book, Cocktail Italiano: The Definitive Guide to Aperitivo: Drinks, Nibbles, and Tales of the Italian Riviera. We had a wonderful time celebrating the launch last spring, and I enjoyed meeting so many of you.

Because it was so much fun, I’m doing it again! Over the next few weeks, I am making several stops throughout Atlanta (and beyond!) to sign copies of my book, and I’d love for you to meet me there. With the gift giving season just around the corner, now is a great time to grab a few books and cross some names off of your list.

First, on November 9, I’m participating in the Elegant Elf Marketplace.  I’ll be joined by an amazing cast of fellow authors, all of whom I greatly admire. This one is sure to be a great time!

Then later this month, I’m joining my friends at Hudson Grace for a Cocktail Italiano cocktail party. Hudson Grace is a fantastic store for scooping up props or finding gifts for everyone on your list.

December kicks-off with a book signing at one of my absolutely favorite stores, Paris Market in Savannah. You may remember that I’ve hosted several fun events at Paris Market in the past. The store is a dream, and I’m thrilled head back to Savannah to visit. Finally, on December 6th, I’ll be at Ballard Designs for a delightful evening with all of you at one of my favorite Atlanta interior institutions.

Here’s a quick recap, or visit my calendar for even more specifics:

  • Friday, November 9, 10 AM – 12 PM – Elegant Elf, Atlanta
  • Thursday, November 15, 5 – 7 PM, – Hudson Grace, Atlanta
  • Sunday, December 2, time TBD – Paris Market, Savannah
  • Tuesday, December 6, time TBD – Ballard Designs, Atlanta

Find the details for several of the events below. I hope to see you there!

xx Annette

I am so excited to be involved with west elm Atlanta and their team once again. They always do such a flawless job with events. Last fall they threw me the most amazing book signing ever! I am a huge fan and I’m always honored to be a part of anything they ask me to do.

This weekend I will be participating in an amazing Bridal Event. west elm is offering a Bridal Registry for the first time. I know, “where was this when I got married?” Right?! Well you lucky Brides-to-be now have an opportunity to register for all things west elm.

Please join me along with some incredible local wedding vendors, for a fun afternoon out full of inspiration. This is an opportunity to explore ways to make your own wedding unique and special. You’ll get to meet and greet with some of the best in the wedding biz and all at one time!

I will help you plan what to register for to make your own perfect “Party Pantry.” I will also be doing a Q&A, book signing for my cookbook Picture Perfect Parties, plus designing 5 reception tables with help from west elm and Victory Blooms owner, floral designer Megan Dunlap. To kick of this fabulous party enjoy bubbly from Drync and nibbles by one of the best caterers in Atlanta: Dennis Dean Catering. Wander and mingle with wedding vendors and event planners. Minted will supply fun backdrops for selfies and decor. Sound fun?

Please RSVP and we will see you there! I am so excited to meet all you Brides and talk everything wedding and entertaining!

Chicago Book signing with Buckingham Interiors

I have been off the book signing road for a couple months. But I kicked it back in gear to travel to my old stomping grounds: Chicago. It was such a pleasure to be hosted by Julia Buckingham and her amazing staff. First off the showroom is G_O_R_G_E_O_U_S. Did I mention I wanted everything in it? What a great place to host a party. I loved meeting everyone and the food, flowers and vino were just well picture perfect.

This thank you goes out to my girlfriends that made the trek on the train from Milwaukee (my hometown). We had such a wonderful day lunching at Ralph Lauren on Michigan Avenue.

Kathy and Marlene took such good care of me during my signing introducing me to everyone and getting me water and making sure everyone had a book. Fair to say ladies… you are coming on the road with me!

I got to see some friends from Atlanta as well, so it was a memorable highlight from my book tour.

I had a lively conversation with Joline Rivera, art director for Sweet Paul Magazine (one of my favorite publications out there!). Turns out we had a million people in common, don’t you just love when that happens?
